General Surgery

The “General Surgeon” has completed a Residency or specialty training in the field of surgery. This training encompasses the entire body. Following the completion of residency, the new surgeon takes an exam to become Board Certified. Surgeons perform comprehensive general surgery examinations, consultations, diagnosis, and treatment planning along with any surgery required.
